Baby Milk Storage Guidelines

When I travel I only bring enough expressed baby milk to get me through the trip. I also travel with my breast pump so that once I reach my destination I can make up more bottles for my baby, rather than worry about travelling with too much baby milk or the milk spoiling.

Formula Storage Guide
  • When travelling with either powdered or liquid formula you should bring brand new packages on your trip to avoid having to worry about guidelines for previously opened packages

  •  An open can of liquid formula can be kept for 48 hours in the refrigerator

  • Formula prepared from powder can be refrigerated and used within 24 hours

  • Once a baby has nursed from a bottle you must throw away any leftover
