Canadian Families Can Save Big Dollars On Air Fare To The USA
If you live in Canada and are heading to a destination in the USA or Mexico or the Caribbean you can usually save a lot of money by flying out of an American airport such as Detroit or Buffalo or Seattle. We travel regularly with our baby and instead of flying out of the Toronto airport which is only 45 minutes away for us we prefer to drive a little further and fly out of the airport in Buffalo, New York.
Here is an example of the savings. To fly from Toronto to Fort Lauderdale return in early December 2007 would cost us $472 per person in Canadian dollars. To fly from Buffalo to Fort Lauderdale return at the same time would cost $175 per person Canadian. That’s a whopping savings of almost $300 per person.
