Air Travel with Baby Milk
You may be concerned about bringing milk or formula on a plane when you are travelling with your baby, because of strict guidelines on travelling with liquids. Below is some information from the U.S. Transportation Security Administration and the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority
- If you are travelling with a baby or toddler up to age two you are able to have breast milk, baby formula and juice in your carry-on baggage.
- You must declare these items when you go through security screening and these items are subject to additional screening.
- You are encouraged to travel with only as much formula, breast milk, or juice in your carry-on needed to reach your destination.
- You are also allowed to bring gel or liquid-filled teethers, canned, jarred, or processed baby food in your carry-on baggage and aboard your plane.
